Instructions: To begin making Okra Bamia recipe, first heat oil in a saucepan and let it heat.Add the onion and garlic and sauté till the onion becomes translucent.Add the coriander powder, chilli powder and okra and stir fry for a minute.Add about 1 cup of water to the okra and add salt.Bring it to a boil and cook for another 2-3 minute.Now add the tomato paste and stir it, cook the mixture with the lid on top at a low heat.Wait till the okra is cooked and see to that the sauce is thick. Add the lime juice and give it a good mix.Butter Garlic Naan or Saffron Pilaf can be served with Bamia Okra Recipe.
