Instructions: To make Karnataka Style Soraakkai Palya, first heat the oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and cook for 10 seconds. Now add tomatoes, salt and cook till the tomatoes become soft. After the tomato becomes soft, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, sambar powder, gourd and mix it well. After 2 minutes, add 1/2 cup of water to it, close the cooker and cook till 3 cities come. Let the pressure drain automatically. Open and serve the cooker. Serve the Karnatka Style Sorakka Palya with Kirai Sambar and rice for dinner.
