Jessica is doing really well. We had her 15 month check up a couple weeks ago. Poor girl had to get 4 shots. :-( She is growing so quickly. Here are her current stats:

Height: 30.5" = 51st percentile
Weight: 23 lbs 8 oz = 36th percentile
Head Circumference: 46 cm = 45th percentile
Has 4 top front teeth and 2 front bottom teeth. It feels like she has 2 molars on each side on the top now. So her teeth are finally coming in. She has resorted to trying to bite me constantly now.
Wears 12-18 month clothing
Wears size 4 shoes
Wears size 4 diapers

Here are some recent pics of my beautiful little girl!

So we had our ultrasound today. It is looking like Jessica is going to have a little baby..........BROTHER!! Yay, we didn't break the trend in my family. Each of us now have a daughter and a son. The hard part is that we have to come up with a boy name that we can agree on now. If Jessica had been born a boy we would have had to come up with a name very quickly. We never could agree on a boy name just in case the ultrasound was wrong. I don't think we have to worry about whether it is wrong this time....It was quite obvious!! As you can see I have already posted the newest baby pic over on the right...If you click on it and look at it bigger it actually looks like he is smiling a little. It is crazy how just knowing the sex makes it feel even realer then it did before. I sure can't wait to meet the little guy!

I am 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant today and let me tell you...I am really starting to feel pregnant!!! I think this baby has decided that I don't need my bladder and has sat on it until it is super small because I seriously have to go pee around 10-15 times per day. At least I feel like I do...I don't really go much once I try.

The throwing up has slowed way down but the morning nausea seems to stick around until I eat breakfast and sometimes it stays until lunch time. I am almost always fine by evening. I have discovered which cupboard in the kitchen was making me throw up to open so I have started keeping my cereal on the counter so I would not have to open it before I eat. Much better!!

So, tomorrow is the big day! We get to go in tomorrow morning and see the baby on ultrasound and hopefully find out what we are having. I am very excited for it!

Tuesday is Jessica's 15 month check up...yes I know she is already 16 months old but her doc in Portland told me that her next check up would be at 18 months and when we moved here her new doc said she should have had a 15 month check up so we are having it a little late. Poor baby has to get a bunch of shots tomorrow.....I hate seeing her get shots!!

Jessica and I have been having a lot of fun during the days going to the children's museum and to the park. She loves to walk around...I think it makes her feel like a big girl! She chases the birds around quacking at them...it is so cute! She has tried to run a few times and that usually ends with her face down on the ground. She hasn't quite got enough balance to run yet. She sure is happy when she is trying though.

She has really started to enjoy going to the children's museum lately. She is very exploratory and just has to go around and touch or climb on anything and everything she can. She seemed to really enjoy the padded jungle gym.

I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with her every day. I have so much fun playing with her and teaching her new things. She surprises me every day at how fast she learns things. She has such an amazing personality and I love to watch it blossoming more and more every day. There are times when I am just sitting there watching her play and she will look up at me and just decide on her own that she wants to give me a hug and kiss so she just gets up and comes over and throws herself into my arms. What can be better than that?? I love that girl more than I could ever imagine possible!
